Matthew L. Moore, professionally known as Lawrence, is an early emerging contemporary artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. Originally from Oak Ridge Tennessee, Lawrence earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts at East Tennessee State University, where he developed a strong foundation in visual storytelling and design.

Inspired by his love of music, Lawrence creates abstractions that translates rhythm into visual art. He chooses charcoal and acrylic mediums to convey dynamic compositions, and calming colours to express emotion and memory. Through his practice, Lawrence continues to investigate how rhythm, color, and form will communicate a visual language that is both deeply personal and universally understood.
